Best moment this week? Getting to see Kylie in 3d and finding out she is 2 weeks ahead of schedule weighing in at 2lbs 14 oz at 28 weeks. Big baby :)
Miss anything? Running, sleeping on my stomach, being able to do things for myself.
Looking forward to? Meeting Kylie Sofia and getting the nursery all together
Workouts? Stair stepper, walking uphill on the treadmill, elliptical, walks after dinner (weather permitting). At least 5 days a week, 45-1hour of cardio with some prenatal yoga on my off days.

Nursery progress? Walls are painted bright pink, closet storage done. Have done some labeling of buckets, painted the book case, waiting for Tyler’s grandpa to restore the rest of the furniture so we can start putting up all the containers.

We are almost ready for baby!!
Done lots of laundry so clothes are mostly done. Have both my bag and her bag ready to go. Waiting on her coming home outfit and starting to get together the car seat playpen and game room for her. Since she will be sleeping with us for a while we are also having to fix up our office room into her own personal bedroom until she's ready to be upstairs.

Almost there!

Wall decal gone wrong but fixed it :)

So I was super excited to get this beautiful wall decals to stick up in the nursery. Dots and a name one. Unfortunately they did not stay up here is what they looked like for like 5 hours...

Thankfully the company refunded my money so I decided to buy letters from hobby lobby. 50% off so they were $1.50 each. I painted them turquoise and then went to the thrift shop to find a cheap frame. $9.69 worked for me!
First step was making sure the letters would fit and boy it's a tight squeeze
Hopefully I can hang it up just right, fingers crossed.
I took off the glass and back part
Here it is
Brought it outside (excuse or dead grass it snowed last night)
Used the white spray paint from Walmart $1.00
I ended up doing two coats but I do like the rustic look to it here.

Here is the final project of the frame.

Next my lovely father in law and husband hung it up over the crib.

Tada for less than $20 we made a fun name wall decor for baby K's nursery.

Oatmeal can bow holder

Last week I made a picture frame bow holder but had more bows that I couldn't hang on it so I made this.

First I bought an oatmeal container and wrapped it in turquoise duct tape
Then I bought some hard wood pieces at hobby lobby
And painted them white I also painted the lid to the can white
I let it all dry then I used my hot glue gun and glued the round piece to the top of the can lid and put something heavy on top so it would stay on.
After a couple of minutes I glued the rod like top shape in the middle
And held it down for a minute. Then I glued the bottom circle peice on and it was complete.

I decided to add some polka dots on bc that is the theme of Ks room and here is te final product with the bows on it.

Ross picture frame

Again I just love Ross ! It is always hit or miss but when I went yesterday I hit twice! Got a beautiful rug for $29.99 to match the nursery (pictures in the nursery blog) and this 4x6 picture frame for $3.49 .

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it until it hit me, a super adorable light switch cover. Now it wasn't the color I wanted so I found some ok spray paint I had from when I spray painted the cushions out  back. (In the blog as well)
I spray painted away and got this as my end result

It matches my hairbow holder perfectly! As soon as I get it up I will posts final pictures of what it looks like in Kylie's nursery.

Bookshelf updo

I bought this bookshelf at a garage sale a while back, when we had just bought our house.

Then we got pregnant and it didn't match the crib or the changing table so I decided to give it an updo cheap and easy!

First I wanted it to match the crib
So I bought this paint $3.75 at Walmart for small can
And painted it. It took about two full days to dry but it turned out exactly how I wanted it.
Then I decided I wanted to add some more to it and went and bought two small bottles of turquoise paint $.59 each at Walmart and painted the inside of the bookshelf
Easy simple and give it a little pop of color to the nursery.

Label

So I am very OCD and love organizing.

As I am setting up the baby's nursery I am realizing I have lots of bins but needed to have them organized.

As you know from other posts my colors are turquoise, pink, white, and brown so I found this labeling tape at Walmart for $2.00 in pink.

It is amazing!!

Best part, if you mess up or want to relabel, it comes right off!

I am not sure if I like using a pink paint pen to write on it or just regular white paint yet. ( I may also try a white paint pen and see what I like better) Anyway here is what they turn out looking like

You can't read that very well but it says blankets.

That's an example of the pink paint pen
That's an example of the white paint.

Again I love this cheap and easy idea of labeling.

Here is a sneak peak of what the closet looks like so far...
